Flexibility is key to reducing injuries. Every sport has an injury profile and a set of movement patterns that get repeated and repeated to the point of exhaustion.
Without supplementary recovery sessions this will lead to movements dysfunctions and adaptations in the body that will lead to pain, discomfort and injury.
Sport Health Yoga for sports recovery targets key muscles around the feet, ankles, legs, knees, hips, groins, thighs and back to help you recover from your hard training.
We also work on core strength through the glutes and deep core to improve stability and keep you performing at your best.
Unlike most other yoga classes we design our classes based on functional anatomy and sports science. We won't ask you to make shapes because "they look good".
We believe in updating the traditional yoga repertoire with understanding of modern sport science. So we won't ask you to make a shape because someone hundreds of years ago told us to.
We want our sessions to help you recover from your training, reduce the risk of injuries and improve performance,
